La Rasude is a new mixed-use district project led by the SBB (Swiss Federal Railways) and Mobimo (SV Rasude) on an 18,000 m² plot adjoining Lausanne station, currently closed to the public. The project provides for the reopening of a pedestrian street and a public park (Belvédère), the preservation and conversion of historic buildings, and the construction of a residential tower and a new office building. It will include at least 200 new homes for around 500 residents, as well as offices, shops and services.

Located just south of Morges railway station, the Quartier des Halles is a mixed-use project developed by CFF Immobilier, offering nearly 40'000 m² of rental space across housing, shops and offices. The two main buildings are already in operation; the final extension, the Sablon Gare building, will add more than 3200 m² of offices, around 800 m² of retail space and more than fifty apartments. Its opening is planned for 2029, with construction starting in summer 2026.
