NovaNest terms of use

NovaNest.ch presents new-build residential projects in Switzerland free of charge, together with construction projects taken from official public notices. Every listing links to its source. By using the site you accept these terms.

• Listings carry facts collected from public pages (location, homes, prices, developer, dates), described in our own words.
• They are compiled automatically and may be incomplete or out of date. The source, the developer’s website or the official file, prevails.
• NovaNest is not the seller, does not market the homes and does not act on behalf of developers, unless stated otherwise.
• Always check with the developer before making any decision.

Like a search engine, NovaNest reads public pages without asking first, and every website stays in control of what we do with them. We never read an area protected by a login, a password or a payment, and we do not get around any protection. We follow the standard instructions websites give to crawlers:

robots.txt closed to NovaNestBot or to all crawlers (*)

We stop reading the pages concerned. If the home page is closed, the project’s listing is removed.

On the home page: the project is not published, and an existing listing is removed together with its images. On another page: that page is not used.

noimageindex or max-image-preview:none

No image from the page is used. On the home page: no image of the project, and since a listing does not appear without an image, the project is not published.

To address NovaNest alone, use the name novanestbot: <meta name="novanestbot" content="noindex"> or X-Robots-Tag: novanestbot: noindex. Instructions addressed to another crawler, such as googlebot, do not apply to us.

We read these instructions again on every visit, usually within a week. For an immediate effect, write to hello@novanest.ch. The technical details are on the crawler page.

A developer, broker, property manager or website operator can ask for a listing to be corrected or removed by writing to hello@novanest.ch, or through the link on every listing. We handle these requests within two working days.

A removed listing and its website go on our exclusion list: the website is no longer visited, and the project is not published again without its owner’s consent. We may ask you to confirm your link to the project, for example by writing from your company’s address.

Photos, renderings and plans remain the property of their authors. Those we show are reduced in size, credited, linked to the source website, and removed on request. NovaNest’s texts, presentation and selection may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without our consent.

NovaNest is not responsible for the content of the websites it links to, nor for decisions made on the basis of a listing. The site is provided as is, with no guarantee of availability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is excluded, except for intent or gross negligence.

How visitor and subscriber data is processed is described in the privacy policy.

We may update these terms; the version online applies and its date is shown at the top of the page. They are governed by Swiss law. If the language versions differ, the French version prevails.
