100 homes
The Generationenprojekt Buchrain Dorf is a development project for the village centre of Buchrain (LU), led by the municipality and the private developer Eberli AG. It provides for more than 100 homes of varied sizes (from studio to family apartment, as affordable rentals or for ownership), a municipal services centre (library, after-school care, medical practice, coworking), the renovation of the historic "Adler" inn as well as new public spaces such as the village park and the festival square. The development plan was approved by popular vote on 30 November 2025 and by the Lucerne Cantonal Council in January 2026, with construction scheduled to begin in early 2027 for the services centre and the Adler complex, and in 2028 for the residential buildings.
