In the centre of Bülach, between Bahnhofstrasse and Schaffhauserstrasse, the Sonnenhof district is to become a new mixed-use urban centre comprising around 240 rental apartments, commercial spaces, a cultural and community centre, as well as green squares and courtyards. The private development plan, developed by Terresta AG with pool Architekten and S2L landscape architects, was submitted to the Town of Bülach at the beginning of 2026 and still requires approval from the Town and the canton of Zurich. The first construction phase is not expected before 2031.
